This specialization has allowed us to establish ourselves as experts on the ever-evolving National Flood Insurance Program and become a Coverholder with Lloyd’s of London to create our own private flood insurance program. As a Business Development Representative, you will have the exciting opportunity to connect with leading insurance brokers & agents, introducing them to our specialized flood insurance products. You will play a crucial role in expanding our market reach and building lasting relationships with our partners. Additionally, you will engage with our audience on social media platforms, primarily LinkedIn, to enhance our online presence and drive business development.

What you’d be doing:

  • Drive Growth: Contact and build relationships with insurance brokers and agencies to promote AFR’s flood insurance products.
  • Strategize: Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to meet or exceed targets.
  • Expertise: Provide in-depth knowledge and expertise on flood insurance products and services.
  • Engage Online: Actively engage and interact with potential clients and partners on social media, particularly LinkedIn.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Stay Ahead: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Track Success: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in our CRM system.

The skills and experience you’d bring to AFR Insurance Services:

  • Proven experience in business development (min 3 years), preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, for business development.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, insurance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Current Texas P&C Insurance License or obtained within 60 days of hire; required
